ALG Worldwide Logistics Offers New Services ALG Worldwide Logistics is happy to announce three new services to better serve our clients’ needs. Through our new collation management services, customizable distribution management system and web-based universal tracking system, we will continue delivering innovative logistics solutions.
Collation Management Network ALG has entered into an agreement to provide collation management (co-mail) services to the print/media industry. In January of 2007, our co-mail lines will be strategically located in Chicago, IL and Pennsylvania. We will be the first independent logistics management company to offer a combination of co-mail management and destination entry services under one roof.
ALG Revolutions ALG offers a customizable distribution management system that allows the mailer to manage daily pre-production optimization to outbound shipping, all from their desktop. This web-based system allows you to optimize mail.dat files for maximum postal penetration and savings. Revolutions merges multiple mail.dat files, optimizes, builds efficient loads and generates consolidated electronic 8125 forms, shipping manifests and bills-of-lading. This system enables the user to individually bar-code pallets, track inventory and trace mail throughout the transportation process. With on-demand reporting and web-based applications, everything a mailer needs to manage daily output is at their fingertips. Unlike other systems offered in the industry requiring mailer investment, Revolutions is free to the user, making it the most valuable tool in the industry.
Uni-Track This universal tracking system is a web-based application providing pallet and piece level tracking throughout the transportation, distribution and postal sort and delivery process. From the time mail is produced and shipped to in-home delivery, ALG’s universal tracking system provides a single-source of information at the mailers’ fingertips. The difference between ALG’s Uni-Track system and similar products is that we offer this to our clients as a proprietary, seamless tool in a private web environment. A mailer can allow its clientele access to pallet and piece tracking through their own website, making the logistics company and its services, a transparent and seamless part of the direct marketing process.
