ALG Worldwide Logistics is happy to announce that we will be providing the print/media industry with complete collation management (co-mail) services. Our new Collation Management Network division will be operating in our state-of-the-art, 300,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility. We will be the first independent logistics management company to offer a combination of co-mail management and destination entry services under one roof. This includes in-house consolidation and logistic management services, as well as a suite of data processing services offered through ALG Mail-List Management Services.

Our Collation Management Network will have the ability to process individual copies of multiple titles and merge them together to increase presort automation and potential destination entry discounts. The system will inherently allow for greater postal discounts than a co-palletization process, which predominantly generates savings by presenting mail as a palletized unit rather than in sacks.

ALG’s Collation Management Network is designed for short-run, medium-run and long-run magazine titles, as well as for catalog mailers. For short to medium-run publishers, the collation system targets total circulation of 5,000 to 150,000 copies. This system allows for immediate entry into the co-mailing pools based upon geographic production. The Collation Management Network includes destination entry services with full BMC, SCF, ADC and select DDU distribution.
