Eastern Colorado and Wyoming Post Offices Closed

The Governor of Colorado has declared a state of emergency due to a severe winter storm with blizzard conditions.

All postal operations are temporarily suspended on the eastern front range area of Colorado—east of the Continental Divide—from Pueblo north through the whole eastern part of the state.

Postal operations also are suspended to eastern Wyoming north up to the Cheyenne/Laramie area.

Postal customers in these areas will not receive mail delivery Thursday, Dec. 21. The Denver airport is closed, as are all highways into and out of the area.

Further updates will be provided as they become available.

Seattle Storm Update

The Seattle District continues to recover from last week’s severe windstorm that brought heavy rains and high winds to the area. Customers should be advised that they may experience minor delivery delays in rural areas.

Sincerely,
