The USPS has published a notice in Friday's Federal Register revising the standards for polywrap film used on automation-rate flat-size mail. The new standards provide one set of specifications for automation polywrap and improve USPS ability to process poly-wrapped pieces on their primary flat-mail processing equipment. The effective date for the new polywrap is February 4th for manufacturers and March 3rd for mailers.
