ALG’s Collation Management System processes individual copies of multiple publication titles and merges them together to increase presort automation and potential destination entry discounts. The system inherently allows for greater postal discounts than a co-palletization process, which predominantly generates savings by presenting mail as a palletized unit rather than in sacks.

ALG’s Collation Management System is designed for short-run, medium-run and long-run magazine titles as well as for catalog mailers. For short to medium-run publishers, the collation system targets total circulation of 5,000 to 150,000 copies. This system allows for immediate entry into the co-mailing pools based upon geographic production. The Collation Management System includes destination entry services with full BMC, SCF, ADC and select DDU distribution.
